Square Bale accumulator for 10 bales on Edge
The Norden Bale accumulator system for 10 hay bales on edge, the E10 is fairly popular. Small loader size and matching legacy bale grapples from competing brands, the accumulator is a nice upgrade for many operators. The small group size is not demanding for the loader and is easy to fit into many barns. We recommend the E10 system for farms producing 10,000 to 20,000 bales per year.
The E10 Accumulator System
- Bales arranged on edge, 5 bales wide/2 bales long
- Handles bales from 32” to 38” in length
- The 10-bale group is ideal for smaller operations and is compatible with a small loader because its lighter weight is under the maximum weight requirement of a grabber
- If the bales in this arrangement are 36” long, enabling cross-stacking of bales with the KN510 Tie-Grabber or 510 Grabber models
- The bale group size is 75″ wide and 64″-76″ long.
Twisted Chute
The twisted chute turns each bale onto its side, while the baler provides the force needed to push the bales to the top of the chute.
Stainless Steel Deck
The stainless steel deck provides a better surface for the bales to slide in higher dirt and moisture conditions.
Gravity-Driven Gates and Final Bale Trip
As gravity moves the bales downward, the last bale in each row swings a gate to open the next row. The last bale in the grab opens the back gate.
Automatic Rear Gate
The last bale in the grab opens the back gate. As the accumulator unloads itself, springs automatically return all the gates back to their starting position, and the rear gate snaps back shut, ready for the next bale.
Cornering Guide Belt
Sharp turns are no problem as the guide belt keeps bales properly aligned and moving up the chute.

510 Grabber

- Compatible with similarly arranged bundles from competitors’ accumulator brands
- Requires a loader with at least 1,500lb lift capacity and one set of remotes
Cast steel bale hooks
Once the group is tight, a single hydraulic cylinder rotates all the hooks simultaneously into the top of the bales to pick up the group. These durable hooks allow for 2 hooks per bale to ensure the bundle is secure while transporting bundles.

KN510 Tie-Grabber
features etc.
- The KN510 Tie-Grabber picks up and ties bales that are arranged by the AE10 bale accumulator. Two long, five wide, on edge.
- A lower weight requirement for this tie-grabber allows for the use of a smaller loader, and the bundle can be picked up from any of its sides
- If bales are 36″ long, you are able to cross-stack them with this model or the 510 Grabber
- Requires a loader with at least 1,800lb lift capacity, see details for hydraulic requirements
Squeeze Arm
Once the machine is aligned with the bale bundle, the Squeeze Arm applies pressure and squeezes the bales tightly together to form a strong and compact bundle. This arm is important for creating a bundle that is easy to stack, move, and load.
Loader Mount
This customizable option allows you the flexibility to move between multiple loader hookups.
Twine Arm
When hydraulically engaged, the twine arm wraps twine around the bundle of bales to hold the bundle together.
Multiple Hose Options
This machine allows you to choose two hydraulic hoses with a wire control in the cab, or a four hydraulic hose option. This customizable feature allows you to choose the best option for your operation.
